FROM THE EDITOR

Feilding-Rangitikei Herald - - Your Paper, Your Place -

It looks like Bulls - the town famous for its puns - has been getting quite the refresh as the community works on becoming Rangitikei’s No.1 stopover location.

The old jail in Bulls has been restored by the town’s community committee (Page 3) and a series of life-sized bulls have been erected in the town (Page 7).

Both will make great photo opportunities for travellers taking a rest in the town.

Now it remains to be seen what will happen with Bulls’ new multipurpose centre, which will hopefully boost the town further.

In this week’s edition we welcome the return of the ‘From the Mayor’s Chair’ monthly column.

This was something former mayor Margaret Kouvelis undertook and now our new mayor Helen Worboys will share a monthly message in the Herald.

Her latest column is on our Conversations section on page 14.
