FROM THE EDITOR

Feilding-Rangitikei Herald - - Your Paper, Your Place -

It is my duty to inform you that we will permanently close the Feilding-Rangitikei Herald building to the public at the end of July.

Though commercial realities have made operating the Fergusson St site unsustainable, I would like to reassure you that we are not moving out of Feilding.

Our dedication to covering the news, events and issues people in the wider Manawatu and Rangitikei region care about will continue unabated, and our reporters, photographers and advertising staff will remain active and visible in these communities.

Customers will still be able to book classifieds and pay bills online or over the phone but we are also in discussions with a local agency to set up a physical site in town for such transactions. I will keep you updated about our progress on this.

Our final day in the building will be July 28.

If you would like to discuss this with me directly, please feel free to call me on 06 355 7306 or email lisa.houston@fairfaxmedia.co.nz
