Following last week’s announcement that the FeildingRangitikei Herald building in Fergusson St will permanently close at the end of the month, I am happy to tell you we will have an agency in Feilding from August.

We have partnered with Feilding’s Paper Plus to allow you to book classified ads, pay your accounts and collect your paper from their shop in Manchester Square, after our office closure on Friday, July 28.

I am also delighted to tell you that the Feilding-Rangitikei Herald reporters, and myself, will be on site at the Bookmark Cafe, inside Paper Plus, once a week to meet with you, discuss your stories and hear about your issues.

I will let you know when we’ll be there and I’m really looking forward to spending more time in the community getting to know our people.
