Feilding-Rangitikei Herald - - Our District News -

Congratulations to our Manawatū Young Achievers category winners, and all of the nominees.

We had a great evening at the Civic Centre recognising the young people in front of a full house of friends and family. These are the young people, nominated by their schools, in our community who have contributed positively to its people and the environment, excelled in sports, been inspirational or have shown outstanding leadership, been innovative, or have demonstrated outstanding effort. “This ceremony acknowledges students in the Manawatū District that have contributed positively to the community and demonstrated exceptional leadership amongst their peers” said Mayor Helen Worboys, “It has been another great year of achievement and success for our students.”

The category winners were: Jack Lewer, Chloe Lewis, Rawanui Cuff, Harawira Hadfield, Ava Thomas, Summer McKay, Morgan Cameron, and David Buckman.
