Camp­ing sea­son un­der­way at Vine­gar Hill

Camp­ing sea­son at Pu­tai Nga­here Do­main (Vine­gar Hill) has of­fi­cially kicked off for sum­mer.

Manawatū Dis­trict Coun­cil have been work­ing hard to en­sure that this pop­u­lar re­serve is safe and en­joy­able for ev­ery­one over the fes­tive sea­son in­clud­ing the LGBT com­mu­nity who have cel­e­brated the new year at this re­serve for decades with mu­sic, shows and cel­e­bra­tions.

Coun­cil have en­gaged Ar­mour­guard Se­cu­rity to mon­i­tor and re­spond to any­one ex­hibit­ing any form of anti-so­cial be­hav­iour. Those who do not re­spect our guide­lines will be asked to leave or re­ferred to the Po­lice.

Fees for this year are $9.00 each for an adult and $4.00 each for chil­dren per night.

Re­cre­ation Ser­vices Ltd are the main­te­nance con­trac­tors on­site who will be col­lect­ing your fees dur­ing the camp­ing sea­son (Dec-Feb). Please be aware this is cash only.
