Pear re­viewed

At the end of the week, I of­ten find my fridge still con­tains a ran­dom as­sort­ment of fruit and veges, so I’m al­ways on the hunt for dif­fer­ent recipes to res­cue near­ex­pired pro­duce. Last week it was a bag of pears so I de­cided to turn my hand to The Rich Dark Choco­late Tart with Poached Pears in the Au­gust/septem­ber is­sue. Need­less to say, it was a real win­ner with ev­ery­one in my house­hold.
