Cran­berry sauce

SPICED CRAN­BERRY SAUCE PREP + COOK TIME 15 mins MAKES 2 cups

2 cups fresh or frozen cran­ber­ries ¼ cup Coin­treau or other or­ange-flavoured liqueur 350ml store-bought spicy plum sauce ¼ cup sugar

1 Place all the in­gre­di­ents in a medium-sized saucepan.

2 Sim­mer gen­tly for ap­prox­i­mately 15 min­utes, or un­til the mix­ture is re­duced with a thick, syrupy con­sis­tency and the cran­ber­ries have be­gun to col­lapse.

3 Set the sauce aside un­til re­quired. Can be served warm or cold.
