Toyota Festival returns to Waikato
Toyota owners will be bouncing off the rev limiter in joy as the annual Toyota Festival ignites next month, this time at the Hampton Downs International Circuit.
After taking place at the Highlands Motorsport Park in Cromwell last year, the festival returns to the North Island with a wide variety of action planned for the International Circuit.
Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Toyota Corolla in New Zealand on April 1, the 2017 Toyota Festival will be host to plenty of on and off track activities.
Toyota New Zealand’s general manager of used vehicles and marketing, Andrew Davis said: ‘‘Over the years we have been fortunate enough to have Toyota models that have appealed to New Zealand motorists who have ultimately become enthusiasts. This ranges from performance and sports car models like the legendary AE86, MR2, Celica and [the] new 86, to our SUV and 4x4 models like [the] Hilux.’’
This year, Toyota will be introducing their inaugural Motorkhana competition to the event, adding more excitement to the day.
