Franklin County News - - BUSINESS -

You will have seen the coverage from the 2017 Pukekohe Business Awards in the Franklin County News and I can confirm it was an amazing night.

The awards were attended by over 400 people from the business community all dressed in their finest. MC Jeremy Elwood was a fantastic entertainer, and all the nominees were extremely gracious and supportive.

Judging was based on a mystery shopper’s report, and submissions made by businesses. Submissions were required to answer four questions relating to the businesses history, marketing, customer service and community support. The submissions showed a huge amount of effort and creativity and the judges remarked that every year gets more difficult as improvements continue to amaze them. It is really tough to judge!

There were 12814 votes received for the People’s Choice Award up from 6900 in 2016.

We want to thank all the finalists for the hard work and enthusiasm they showed. Thank you also, to the public that voted for people’s choice and our sponsors, including our media partner Franklin County News.
