Amidst its qual­ity ve­hi­cles and ’’great’’ ser­vice and work­man­ship, Pukekohe Toy­ota en­gages with Franklin in other ways - they are re­spon­si­ble for the Pukekohe Toy­ota Com­mu­nity Bar­be­cue, which caters for sport­ing events, school events and char­ity events.

As its web­site claims, ‘‘It’s like an ex­tended piece of, not only Pukekohe Toy­ota, but our lo­cal city as well.’’

Mur­doch said he was ex­cited for Pukekohe Toy­ota’s fu­ture and ac­knowl­edged the com­mu­nity’s sup­port.

‘‘I re­ally en­joy the peo­ple and I re­ally en­joy the town, it has a huge amount go­ing for it - the fu­ture for Pukekohe is big.

‘‘I would just like to say a big thank you to the com­mu­nity, the Pukekohe Busi­ness As­so­ci­a­tion and the spon­sors for the event, it was re­ally well done.’’
