Franklin’s Finest Peo­ple of the Year Awards are back and this year, Franklin County News cel­e­brates 13 years of hon­our­ing our dis­trict’s finest.

The pop­u­lar an­nual awards recog­nise the un­sung he­roes of our com­mu­nity - of which there have been many over the years. Any­one who lives in the Franklin County News’ cir­cu­la­tion area is el­i­gi­ble for nom­i­na­tion and all nom­i­na­tors will go into the draw to win a $500 Mitre 10 Mega gift voucher.

Award cat­e­gories this year are: Pukekohe Pak ‘n Save In­spi­ra­tion Award; McDon­ald’s Pukekohe Ju­nior Achieve­ment Award; Camp­bell Tyson Act of Kind­ness Award; Stihl Shop Pukekohe Vol­un­teer of the Year; New Zealand Steel Men­torLeader of the Year; Coun­ties Manukau Sport Sports Per­son­al­ity of the Year; Bar­foot & Thomp­son Pukekohe Com­mu­nity Worker of the Year; Mitre 10 Mega Em­ployee of the Year; Franklin Lo­cal Board Life­time Achieve­ment Award.
