The Tuakau Christmas parade will cheer through town once again this year leading up to the festive season.

Plentiful in colour, noise and entertainment, floats will line the main streets of Tuakau from 3pm on Saturday, December.

Stalls and entertainment start at 9am.

Tuakau Lions Club’s Bob Bell has been helping to organise the parade and said it would be day of joy.

‘‘People really enjoy it,’’ said Bell.

‘‘It gets the public involved and provides entertainment for the community...the schools really enjoy it.

‘‘[It also] gets the businesses a chance to show off their advertising.’’

Entry fee is free, with the float category winners taking away $100 while second place takes away $75 and third place takes away $50.
