Hawke’s Bay’s Wildflower Sculpture Exhibition
There is plenty to enjoy in a Hawke’s Bay spring, including a unique exhibition of sculpture set among thousands of wildflowers in one of Hawke’s Bay’s most outstanding private gardens.
Mike and Julie Russell’s mature four hectare garden features impressive hedges and topiary, and garden rooms filled with roses and perennial borders opening out into a park-like setting where a massive expanse of wildflowers erupts into colour in time for the Wildflower Sculpture Exhibition. On this year from 9-13 November, the exhibition features works both large and small by artists from around New Zealand. There are also guided walks and talks on offer, and a Wildflower Wearable Art Show. Children are welcome. Find out more at www.wildflowersculptureexhibition.co.nz
