Hawke’s Bay’s Wild­flower Sculp­ture Ex­hi­bi­tion

There is plenty to en­joy in a Hawke’s Bay spring, in­clud­ing a unique ex­hi­bi­tion of sculp­ture set among thou­sands of wild­flow­ers in one of Hawke’s Bay’s most out­stand­ing pri­vate gar­dens.

Mike and Julie Rus­sell’s ma­ture four hectare gar­den fea­tures im­pres­sive hedges and top­i­ary, and gar­den rooms filled with roses and peren­nial bor­ders open­ing out into a park-like set­ting where a mas­sive ex­panse of wild­flow­ers erupts into colour in time for the Wild­flower Sculp­ture Ex­hi­bi­tion. On this year from 9-13 Novem­ber, the ex­hi­bi­tion fea­tures works both large and small by artists from around New Zealand.
