Plas­tered white walls are adorned with a fab­u­lous ar­ray of taxi­dermy and plenty of rich colour and tex­ture. Now in the very ca­pa­ble hands of the sec­ond gen­er­a­tion of the Lo­laiy family, Cazador’s com­ing up 30 years young and re­mains true to its vi­sion of serv­ing game meats, cooked with in­tegrity. Co-owner Re­becca Smidt is a fan­tas­tic host; friendly, knowl­edge­able and with an in­fec­tious en­thu­si­asm for good food and drinks, par­tic­u­larly sherry – ask her to rec­om­mend some­thing.
