Good Food Guide - - Auckland -

Soul caters expertly to the well-heeled clientele it seeks to attract. The ambience at its waterfront location is one of the best in Auckland, with entertainment value provided by a bar that attracts those simply wanting a drink and the opportunity to take in the vibrant Viaduct Harbour activity from a spacious deck, as well as a beautifully stylish, more formal interior dining area. The service is professional, efficient and knowledgeable, from servers who have a long history at Soul. The drinks list is extensive, and while old favourites are retained on the menu, there is innovation too, with beer-battered tarakihi with Persian-style potato salad sitting side by side with roasted hapuku, crayfish ravioli and chickweed, and Hawke’s Bay lamb rack with fig anchoïade.
