Wel­come to your new-look Good Health

Choices magazine. You’ll see we’ve had a fresh spring makeover and changed up our reg­u­lar sec­tions so we can en­sure that we’re bring­ing you ev­ery­thing you need to be the health­i­est, hap­pi­est ver­sion of you!

At Good Health Choices we don’t be­lieve that be­ing healthy is some­thing you do, but rather it’s a fun­da­men­tal part of the way you live your life. It’s not enough to eat your greens and work out five times a week if you’re feel­ing stressed, sleep­ing badly or ne­glect­ing your own needs while try­ing to jug­gle all the other de­mands in your life. I know that when one of th­ese fac­tors is out of whack for me then my whole sense of well­be­ing goes right out the win­dow and it ain’t good.

Nour­ished, Be En­er­gised, Be In­spired and some­times, take a mo­ment to Sim­ply Be. So th­ese are the five sec­tions you’ll now find in your magazine. You’ll also see there are new places to jot down your thoughts, feel­ings and goals and you can use the tool kits to be­gin in­te­grat­ing th­ese pos­i­tive changes into your daily rou­tine.

Our cover star this is­sue is beloved Kiwi cook Chelsea Winter and she’s a great em­bod­i­ment of how to live well. She doesn’t be­lieve in di­ets but fo­cuses on mak­ing whole­some food and then thor­oughly en­joys eat­ing it. She’s learned how to tune in to what mat­ters to her and say a big old ‘no thanks’ to the things that don’t. She’s even given up drink­ing be­cause she de­cided it just wasn’t for her. I hope you’ll be in­spired by her for­mula for hap­pi­ness and dis­cover your own on the pages within.
