What should the damper setting be and where should I position the foot strap when I’m setting up the rowing machine?

AThe damper setting affects the resistance when you

pull the rowing cable. The higher the setting, the greater the ‘wind resistance’ and the harder the cable is to pull; the lower the setting, the easier it is to pull. To mimic the resistance on the water, it’s recommended that you set it between 3 and 5. With regards to the foot

strap, adjust it so it crosses over the ball of your foot.
