Good - - Good Stuff -

On a visit to Matakana Botanicals (see page 100) Good was impressed by its Biolytix’s wastewater treatment system BioPod; an award-winning septic worm system. The BioPod chambers are essentially “eco systems in a tank” and use tiger worms and other organisms to convert household sewage into garden water. At Matakana Botanicals this is transferred to plants via an underground irrigation network. It uses 90 per cent less energy than other aerated septics, no harmful chemicals and is odourless. bi
