Going solar just gets better. Solarcity have extended their offering of affordable solar power to now include solar battery storage – a New Zealand first. They’re combining their panels with Panasonic’s state-of-the-art lithium batteries, allowing homeowners to store excess solar energy that can be used at night and when grid prices are high. The battery power also provides emergency back-up power during power outages or natural disasters.
