Emma Peters

Good’s cover make-up artist and beauty colum­nist Emma Peters’ pas­sion for trans­form­ing peo­ple with make-up goes back to her child­hood in the 1980s, af­ter be­ing in­spired watch­ing mu­sic videos. Now, af­ter a long ca­reer in film, TV, fash­ion and me­dia, Emma runs on­line con­scious beauty store Belle & Sage, sell­ing high-end nat­u­ral and or­ganic make-up and beauty prod­ucts. In 2018, Emma pre­dicts a big beauty trend will be beauty sup­ple­ments to help skin glow.

Hav­ing al­ways been in­ter­ested in hair­dress­ing, she used to ex­per­i­ment with her own hair as well as her friends’ dur­ing high school be­fore mak­ing it a full-time ca­reer (she has worked at Auck­land salon Vada for four years). “It’s a re­ally tan­gi­ble ex­pres­sion of cre­ativ­ity that your client wears ev­ery day, which makes me proud when I send my work out into the world.”
