Hamil­ton Half Marathon founder and or­gan­iser Lyn Har­ris says en­tries to date are well ahead of last year and she is look­ing to have a record field for the 15th an­niver­sary. A commemorative medal will be given to all fin­ish­ers in the Half marathon, 10km and 5km events. As well as the Direct Group Uni­forms Hamil­ton Half Marathon and 10km Mark Kee­som Ray White On­line Realty 5km, there is the the Kin­der­care Kids Com­mando Chal­lenge.

Also this year, Direct Group Uniform will pay a bonus if any course records are bro­ken.

“This year our char­ity is again True Colours Chil­dren’s Health Trust,” Lyn says.

True Colours sup­ports se­ri­ously ill chil­dren, their wha¯ nau and com­mu­nity dur­ing their time of need through coun­selling, nurs­ing care and ed­u­ca­tion.

Stan­dard en­tries close Septem­ber 23. Late en­tries will be taken on the event web­site up to Septem­ber 26 Af­ter this date late en­tries will be taken at reg­is­tra­tion in Flagstaff Club from noon on Septem­ber 29.
