Vol­un­teer dads from Kidz Need Dads (KNDHB) pitched in and helped pro­vide a bar­be­cue lunch at Corn­wall Park on Fa­ther’s Day.

Fam­i­lies en­joyed a great morn­ing to­gether, join­ing in with a range of games in­clud­ing Tie the Tie, says KND man­ager Shayne Jef­fares.

The bar­be­cue was re­cently pro­vided to the KNDHB Trust by the Mazda Foun­da­tion and Shayne says they plan to con­tinue hav­ing bar­be­cues and fun ac­tiv­i­ties through­out the sum­mer months.

“We will meet and connect with dads where they are at, at lo­cal parks across Hawke’s Bay over the week­end with their fam­ily. We are tak­ing to the parks and want to get to know as many dads as we can so we can let them know who KND is and what we are all about.”
