INTRODUCING Rizzo. Rizzo and his three friends made a huge journey all the way from Wellington to stay with us.

Hello everyone. My friends and I arrived here at the Hastings SPCA a couple of weeks ago. Two of our gang have chosen their forever homes but two of us are still waiting for our new special family. We do like company so would rather be adopted together so we are secure and content. We are getting used to the humans here, but are still a little timid. But with lots of loving attention (and a bit of bribing with treats) I’m sure we will get used to people. We need a large, waterproof, secure home with hay and grass to nest in and snack on. Fruit and vegetables are good for us too, as well as pellets. Our favourite things at the moment are silverbeet, carrots and pear. If you have the time, love and commitment to offer us a home, please come and visit us. You may even be lucky enough to hear us having a wee chat.

Hsatings SPCA is open monday to Saturday 10.30-2.30pm, closed on Sundays cnr Maraekakaho & Heathcote roads, Hsatings, phone (06) 878 8733. www.spcahastings.org nz
