Thank you to ev­ery­one who has reg­is­tered for our Novem­ber 3-5 re­u­nion (St Fran­cis Par­ish and St Fran­cis School 150th re­u­nion).

150 years is cer­tainly worth cel­e­brat­ing and each day will start at 10am.

First on Fri­day Novem­ber 3 with the chil­dren and Bishop De­nis Browne who started here at Thames many years ago as a young pri­est.

The Satur­day will start with Fa­ther Malone who is head of the Fran­cis­cans here in New Zealand to hon­our his fel­low and very pop­u­lar Fran­cis­can, Fa­ther Ni­vard, our found­ing pri­est and key ad­vo­cate for our Thames Hos­pi­tal in 1867 and on Sun­day we have Bishop Pat Dunn hon­our­ing us.

You can pick up an en­rol­ment form from the school and Par­ish Cen­tre.

The regis­tra­tion pack and magazine will be avail­able also from the Par­ish Cen­tre from 9am on the Fri­day which is our fo­cus day for the school,shar­ing lunch with the kids, look­ing around the classes and view­ing past school pho­tos.

Later from 6pm we have the very pop­u­lar meet and greet so­cial gath­er­ing un­der the big mar­quee.

On the Satur­day after mass we gather for the of­fi­cial open­ing at 11.30am, lunch/ light re­fresh­ments and en­ter­tain­ment, group pho­tos and a catch up be­fore head­ing away to gather again at the Civic Cen­tre from 6.30pm for our grand re­u­nion din­ner and so­cial night with great en­ter­tain­ment.

Our Sun­day mass with Bishop Dunn also starts at 10am fol­lowed by our fi­nal morn­ing tea gath­er­ing to­gether.
