Man U, A-League star dies at 36
Former Republic of Ireland, Manchester United and A-League player Liam Miller has died aged 36. Miller, who won the A-League title with Brisbane Roar in 2014 and played for Perth Glory and Melbourne City, had been battling pancreatic cancer. Miller, who won 21 caps for Ireland between 2004 and 2009, started his career at Scottish Premier League side Celtic before joining Premier League giants Manchester United. “Everyone at #CelticFC is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former midfielder Liam Miller. RIP Liam, YNWA [You’ll Never walk Alone],” Celtic said on Twitter.
