Man U, A-League star dies at 36

For­mer Re­pub­lic of Ire­land, Manch­ester United and A-League player Liam Miller has died aged 36. Miller, who won the A-League ti­tle with Bris­bane Roar in 2014 and played for Perth Glory and Mel­bourne City, had been bat­tling pan­cre­atic can­cer. Miller, who won 21 caps for Ire­land between 2004 and 2009, started his ca­reer at Scot­tish Premier League side Celtic be­fore join­ing Premier League gi­ants Manch­ester United. “Ev­ery­one at #CelticFC is deeply sad­dened to hear of the pass­ing of for­mer mid­fielder Liam Miller. RIP Liam, YNWA [You’ll Never walk Alone],” Celtic said on Twit­ter.
