When you’re feeling stressed or irritable, add a few drops of chamomile essential oil to a diffuser and allow the soothing fragrance to permeate the air. Diffusion works by dispersing essential oil particles through the air. When we breathe them in, we breathe in the therapeutic properties, and these travel to the brain and other parts of the body. If you don’t have a diffuser, you can open the bottle of chamomile essential oil and inhale the fragrance. Or place a couple of drops on the palm of your hands, rub your hands together and inhale slowly for 30 seconds. You could also place drops on a tissue to inhale.
