Girls rugby growing
Horowhenua- Ka¯ piti’s brand new U18s Secondary school Girls Representatives team faced Wairarapa-Bush U18s Secondary school Girls Representatives Team, on Sunday August 5 at Playford Park in Levin. HK won 64 — 5.
Secondary Girls rugby is still very new but growing in our regions, a union rep said.
“It’s great to see new talents coming through in our communities.
“It’s the first time HKRFU has entered an U18s Girls Rep team in the competition, so you can imagine how excited everyone was and still is.”
HK U18s are hosted in Whanganui by Whanganui U18s Secondary school Girls Representatives on Sunday September 9 at Springens Park, 2pm kick-off. The U18s
U18 Secondary Schools Girls Reps won their first game.
