Horowhenua- Ka¯ piti’s brand new U18s Sec­ondary school Girls Rep­re­sen­ta­tives team faced Wairarapa-Bush U18s Sec­ondary school Girls Rep­re­sen­ta­tives Team, on Sun­day Au­gust 5 at Play­ford Park in Levin. HK won 64 — 5.

Sec­ondary Girls rugby is still very new but grow­ing in our re­gions, a union rep said.

“It’s great to see new tal­ents com­ing through in our com­mu­ni­ties.

“It’s the first time HKRFU has en­tered an U18s Girls Rep team in the com­pe­ti­tion, so you can imag­ine how ex­cited ev­ery­one was and still is.”

HK U18s are hosted in Whanganui by Whanganui U18s Sec­ondary school Girls Rep­re­sen­ta­tives on Sun­day Septem­ber 9 at Sprin­gens Park, 2pm kick-off. The U18s
