Gingerbread prize for RDA fundraiser

Horowhenua Chronicle - - NEWS -

Levin’s Heather Hutchinson has won the Gingerbread Stable and horses — one of the prizes in Levin Riding for the Disabled’s annual raffle.

Heather, a receptionist at PGG Wrightson, said she has never won anything before.

She bought the ticket from Levin RDA volunteer Linda Thomas who also works at PG Wrightson.

The stable and horses were created by Kerri Mill, who won the gingerbread baking challenge this year. She supports Levin RDA baking, decorating and selling gingerbread horse biscuits and organising the raffle.

Other prize winners were: $50 petrol voucher for R Schimpf, a $50 supermarket voucher for Carol Hodson, and a $50 Farmers’ voucher: for Andrew (surname not supplied).

Levin RDA says a great big thanks to everyone who supported them in the Gingerbread Horse Challenge.

Heather receives the prize from Levin RDA’s treasurer Christine Warren. From left to right: Gordon Warren, Christine Warren, Heather Hutchinson and Linda Thomas.
