A shocking act

Kapi-Mana News - - OPINION -

Editor,

I have recently emigrated here from Britain and was shocked to read the letter from Denise Cossar [ KMN, September 21] in regards to the desecration of her late father’s grave.

Surely we must be able to protect the sacred burial ground of dearly departed loved ones. We must, as a community, be able to protect such sacred family areas from the mindless and lawless actions of a misguided minority.

My heart goes out to Denise Cossar and her family, and it would be money well spent if her father’s grave could be protected from further defilement by adding security cameras. – STEPHEN SHAKESHEAVE
