Rangikura jumps higher

Kapi-Mana News - - NEWS -

Rangikura School has some of the fittest little movers in New Zealand and they proved it at the recent National Jump Jam competition in Taupo.

The year 7-8 team came second in its division and supervising teacher Nikki Merval said the kids had a blast.

‘‘We had an amazing weekend, and are looking forward to next year in Christchurch.’’

This was the third year Rangikura had made it to nationals, but this time three of its teams were selected.

The year 4-6 boys were fifth and year 4-6 girls ninth.

Jump Jam is a fitness programme in schools which combines aerobics and dance set to the latest music.
