Rock’n’rhyme baby classes
A free programme to get babies rocking, and parents socialising, will kick off again soon in Tawa.
Baby Rock & Rhyme started at the Mervyn Kemp Library early last year. For babies up to the age of two, it involves singing, finger plays, rhymes and plenty of stories, co-organiser Sharyn Phillips said.
‘‘It’s a great opportunity to have fun with your baby and socialise with other parents who have children the same age.’’
After the success of last year, the Wellington City Councilsponsored programme began again on February 4.
Baby fun: The final Rock & Rhyme class of 2010 was one full of laughter and song.
