February has been a busy month for the Plimmerton Croquet Club, capped off by its John Burke Tournament.

The competition was held on February 12, and won by Wayne Gair in the senior section, and Doug Van Belle in the juniors. John Burke has sponsored the event for the past 12 years and was on hand to present prizes.

Plimmerton and Para- paraumu each won six games but on countback Paraparaumu won the trophy by two hoops.
