Trees, shrubs and climbers: Eu­ca­lyp­tus, bot­tle­brush, cab­bage tree, flax, hebe, pit­tospo­rum, New Zealand jas­mine, lace­bark, po­hutukawa, rata, re­warewa, ap­ple, bay laurel, ki­wifruit, laven­der, cit­rus, pear, plum, peach. Or­na­men­tals: Im­pa­tiens, corn­flower, hol­ly­hock, michael­mas daisy, he­liotrope, pen­ste­mon, salvia, sweet alyssum, zin­nia. Herbs and veg­eta­bles: Basil, chives, cu­cum­ber, melon, echi­nacea, cal­en­dula, rose­mary, sage, squash, pump­kin, sun­flower, sweet corn. Tips: Plant for each sea­son and in large clus­ters to at­tract bees, and don’t spray when plants are flow­er­ing or bees are around.
