Taking your news online
For more than 61 years, Kapi-Mana News has been delivering locals a weekly dose of news, opinions, entertainment, sport and advertising in a newspaper in their letterbox or business foyer.
The printed newspaper will remain the backbone of our service to readers and advertisers for the foreseeable future. But technology marches on, and your community newspaper is moving with it.
At kapimananews.co.nz, readers can find a selection of news, columns, reviews, letters, personality profiles, sports reports, a weekly quiz, and more.
Our latest innovation is to put a complete digital version of each Tuesday’s paper online on the day of publication.
If you prefer to catch up with what’s happening on a screen, or if your paper deliverer is running late, you have instant access. Just turn the pages online as you would if you had the paper copy in your hands. There’s no charge.
The ‘real view’ version, accessible through a link on our homepage, has other advantages. For a competitive cost, advertisers can make their messages come alive on screen by embedding video clips, online profiles or linking to their own websites.
It’s an excellent way to expand your market and lift your profile for very little additional cost. To discuss these opportunities, email manager Richard Gordon (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Kapi-Mana News has always been your platform to tell your news to more than 40,000 other readers in the city.
We want to put more readers’ contributions, photo galleries, sports results and notices out through digital media. In the near future we’ll also be adding video clips of key events, and audio recordings of interviews.
