Are you enrolled to vote?
Voters should check they are correctly enrolled to vote in this year’s general election. Preliminary electoral rolls have been printed and are available for viewing at local PostShops, public libraries and the Registrar of Electors offices. Voters whose details are incorrect or do not appear on the roll need to fill out an enrolment form. Forms are available by free-texting your name and address to 3676, visiting elections.org.nz, calling 0800 36 76 56 or visiting a PostShop. The final printed rolls will close about a month before election day on November 26. Those who enrol in time will receive an EasyVote information pack in the mail, which will include information about the referendum on the voting system.
