Good news for the 13 New Zealanders, one Australian and an Irishman at Scott Base in Antarctica – all 48 matches of Rugby World Cup 2011 will be available to them live on TV.

A live encrypted feed will be made available free of charge to Antarctica for the first time by Rugby World Cup 2011 rights holder TVNZ, to ensure that every pass, tackle and try is available to view.

This year’s tournament will be broadcast in more than 200 territories worldwide, more than any previous Rugby World Cup tournament.
