Cop­ing with the day­light sav­ings change (Sun­day, Septem­ber 25)

‘‘We bought a Momo Sleep Trainer Clock for our three-year-old. Set the alarm the night be­fore and Momo (a mon­key) closes his eyes and won’t open them un­til the time you set it for in the morn­ing,’’ – Pip.

‘‘I’ve found if you start putting your child to bed 30 min­utes ear­lier than usual in the days lead­ing up to day­light sav­ings it helps make the change more grad­ual. You could also try mak­ing the room darker,’’ – Sa­man­tha.

‘‘I rec­om­mend putting block out cur­tains up in bub’s room, the sun­light still stream­ing through for night time sleeps can be most con­fus­ing,’’ – Kirstie.
