Kapi-Mana News - - OPINION -

We had a house cow. We have to look after it, we milk it and feed the family.

If there was a surplus of milk, we used to make about 500 grams of butter which was usually sold at Saturday market, so we would have some cash available to purchase some necessities.

Hard times came around, so we sold a cow. Soon money dwindled away – no money, no cow, no milk. It is a sorry state of affairs. We only being paid ounces, somebody been milking our cow and making money.
