All about money

Kapi-Mana News - - OPINION -

Editor,

Housing NZ’S 0800 system won’t be like talking to the tenancy manager.

Could homes get neglected? Could tenants be done for things that aren’t their doing (bad tradesmen?). This is a bad move. Also, for a person who is desperate to apply for a home, [the impression is they] are now being treated like a thing instead of a person.

I think this will bring back freedom camping. I’m watching a situation like this now. Work and Income are much the same – mucking people around with stand downs. No soul.

I wonder where crime prevention is? Some people need instant help – this will just put pressure on the rest of the system, health, prisons, families, etc. Maybe they hope to fade away. It’s all about money. Government saving. GRACE TAYLOR, Linden.
