Swim school wins

Tawa-based Easyswim Swim School has scooped New Zealand’s top swim school award at Swimming New Zealand’s annual awards. The award recognises the positive impact and quality of Easyswim’s learn-to-swim programme and the school’s involvement in the community. Easyswim had supported schools’ fundraising efforts and promoted key water safety messages and practical instruction, said its founder Todd Morton. Easyswim Swim School was established in 2006, operating from Khandallah School pool. It has been using Tawa School pool for the past 18 months.
