Grants given to 44

The Mana Community Grants Foundation has approved grants totalling $300,000 in its latest funding round. Grant monies have been allocated to 44 community organisations for projects ranging from $300 to $50,000 in value, said chairman John Burke. ‘‘Sadly there were a number of other very worthy projects that we were unable to fund on this occasion but we hope these organisation will reapply in the future,’’ Mr Burke said. The grants were presented at the Ledge Tavern on April 5.
