The Porirua Vikings continued their fine start to the season with a decisive 38-22 win over local rivals St George at Ascot Park on Saturday.
The result has them second on the table, only behind Randwick on points differential.
The win follows their victory over reigning premiers Te Aroha in week one and 24-all draw with Wainuiomata on April 13. The side may have a new coach but scoring plenty of points remains a benchmark of their play.
St George has yet to chalk up a victory after four games.
This Friday, St George play Wainuiomata at Porirua Park (7.30pm) and, on Saturday, the Vikings travel to Naenae Park to take on Randwick (2.30pm).
