‘‘The attack left the victim requiring hospital treatment for injuries to his head, neck, arms and leg. He has since been discharged.’’

Detective Carter says the 20-year-old accused appeared in the Porirua District Court on Tuesday, charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. He has been remanded on bail with strict conditions until later this month.
