PARTY TREAT: OREO TRUFFLE POPS

-

– Buy two packets of Oreo biscuits and whiz them in a blender until they are well smooshed. – Add in a tub of cream cheese and mix together with your hands. – Roll into balls and place a stick in them. – Put in fridge for about 30 minutes or freezer if need be. – About 25 minutes into the cooling time melt some Whittaker’s milk chocolate. – Take balls out of fridge and dip into chocolate. Use the stick to swirl them round so they are evenly coated. – Place on top of baking paper on a tray and put back in the fridge to set. – Once they are set you can melt white chocolate and with a fork drizzle it over the pops. Or while the milk chocolate is still wet you can decorate with edible decorations, whichever you prefer. You can also substitute the Oreos with other biscuits like Timtams or mint slices. Thanks to Pip Johnson for the recipe.
