Wed­nes­day, May 30 SALUTE 70, Cel­e­brate the 70th an­niver­sary of the US Marines’ ar­rival in New Zealand by vis­it­ing the camp sites at Ti­tahi Bay, Pare­mata, Pau­ata­hanui and Judge­ford on a bus tour. En­joy pre­sen­ta­tions, lunch and a screen­ing of Gay­lene Pre­ston’s War Sto­ries our Moth­ers Never Told Us at the Light House cinema. 10am till 4.30pm. Tick­ets $ 35 from Pataka re­cep­tion.
