Kapi-Mana News - - NEWS -

Winter evenings have got a bit brighter at Hampton Hill School in Tawa thanks to a grant from Wellington City Council and Hampton Hill After School Care. Lack of lighting near the building used by the after-school programme was making the path unsafe, so the school’s Board of Trustees applied for the grant. Minenkoff Electrical have installed seven lights at a cost of $9777. Principal Lou Bray-Burns says comments from parents about the new lights has been overwhelmingly positive, and will be especially effective for events like a hui in term three and disco in term four.
