Stories of colic sought

Kapi-Mana News - - PARENTING -

Families who have endured a baby suffering from colic are being sought for a national survey.

‘‘The survey is a place for suffering families to ‘purge, to tell it like it is or was’,’’ says Philippa Murphy, postnatal liaison educator for Natural Winding, a service offering drug-free methods for combating colic.

‘‘Your heartache can make a difference; one that has potential to further develop our parenting society in a positive, informed nature.’’

Ms Murphy believes that compiling information of the daily reality for Kiwi parents provides the necessary foundation needed to establish the facts, find the gaps and develop solutions, ‘‘ one of which needs to be early intervention and prevention through early education’’.

To take part in the survey, running until December 1, visit the Natural Wind website: www. naturalwinding
