PlaceMakers Porirua is relocating to a new, custom-fitted store in Todd Park in November.

The store has operated out of Semple St for the last 20 years. It will move into a 8250sqm site, occupying a sixth of the original Todd Motor Plant building.

The new location will feature an expansive drive-thru area, plenty of parking and an in-store Wattyl Trade Centre, and the purposedesigned showroom will have the size, space and layout to feature the latest displays, says PlaceMakers chief executive John Beveridge. “PlaceMakers is committed to local trades and the move to more up-to-date facilities provides a platform for future growth.

“Our commercial reps are well respected by Porirua trade professionals and they’ll all be making the move to Todd Park with us. We’ve just hired a new residential commercial rep and we hope to expand our team further.”

Having signed an initial sixyear lease, PlaceMakers Porirua expects to begin trading at Todd Park by the end of this year.
