The gig will feature some of Weir’s best loved material, spanning an eclectic range of genres including material from Black Seeds and Fly My Pretties, with some fresh arrangements. Whitireia Up Front music gigs, where students perform alongside established artists in a concert venue, have been running since 2000.

Previous gigs have featured musicians such as Warren Maxwell (Trinity Roots, Fat Freddy’s Drop) and Karl Steven (Supergroove) and have received critical praise from the artists and public.
