Children aged 7 to 15 years are invited to register for next month’s Wellington Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon.

Sporting celebrities including Sophie Pascoe, Anna Harrison and Aaron Barclay will attend the Wellington TRYathlon at Hutt Recreation Grounds on February 10, to support and encourage participants to achieve a personal best.

Sanitarium spokeman Pierre van Heerden said the triathlon was suitable for children of all levels as it focused on encouraging kids to participate, have fun and do their best.

Every child who participates receives a race pack, a race T-shirt, a swim cap for all swimmers, a certificate and a medal.

Children can enter the event as individuals, or in a team of two or three. The Wellington event has a limited number of places available.

Registrations can be completed online at http:/ /tryathlon.weet or by calling 09 531 5080.
